AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): Administrative officials imposed fines on common public for roaming without masks in the city Agartala. The Mask enforcement drive was led at Post Office Chowmuhani, Agartala under the leadership of DCM Amit Kumar Das.
On one side the 3rd wave of COVID-19 hits the state and on the other side imposing fines on common people have become heavy on them amid workless, poverty and income-less situation in the state. The administrative official targets only on Common poor people not the Political leaders who are behind spreading the COVID-19. The Mask Enforcement Drive was led on Common people but not done on leaders and Minister during Political gatherings.
However, talking to the DCM it is known around 15 people were fined Rs 200 for not wearing mask and Mask was also given those who had not mask.
