BISHALGARH, Jan 6 (TIWN): A drunk man was arrested for attacking a traffic police officer in Bishalgarh.

The accused has been identified as Raju Saha.

The incident took place in front of the SDPO Office in Bishalgarh.

The traffic police were checking vehicles on the bypass road. All of a sudden Raju Saha, a resident of Goutam Nagar attacked an on-duty traffic man named Dipankar Bhowmik and tore the traffic man’s dress, nameplate.

Raju Saha also damaged the documents of the police, vandalized the sitting arrangement there.

Getting information, Bishalgarh Police rushed to the spot and arrested him.
