AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): Based on secret information, Bishalgarh police, BSF and Forest department conducted a 2 hour joint operation on Thursday morning and destroyed about 30,000 cannabis plants in 10 plots in Chelikhla area under Bishalgarh subdivision.

The operation was led by Bishalgarh PS OC Debashish Saha and a large number of police and TSR forces. However, Bishalgarh PS OC Debashish Saha did not open his mouth in front of the media, which has started to raise various questions.

Allegations are being raised from various sources that Drug traffickers in various areas under Bishalgarh are running a rampant drug trade without any fear. Report says, newly constructed bypass of Bishalgarh gripped under the drug consumption and smuggling networks.
