DHARMANAGAR, Dec 22 (TIWN): SFI and DYFI leftist organizations organized a rally in Dharmanagar by opposing the State Govt Notice of ‘Privatization of Education’.
The rally started from the CPI-M district office at Dharmanagar in North Tripura, walked on main roads in Dharmanagar town, and came back to the district office on Tuesday. The procession was led by Sandeepan Deb and Nabarun Dey, the state leaders of the two organizations.
Besides, the rally was led by District Secretary and former MLA Amitabh Dutt and a large number of students including MLA Bijita Nath of Bagbasa Assembly constituency.
The voice was raised from the rally that the policy of privatization of the education system should be canceled immediately. If the State Govt does not take any initiative to repeal the decision then the Leftist organizations will go for a massive protest in the coming days.
