AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): As the Sealdah flyover in Tripura Govt’s Advertisement sparked criticism, TMC has further slammed BJP Govt for stealing Bengal’s development photos repeatedly. In the photo which was displayed in the advertisement of Tripura Govt, Kolkata’s iconic Blue buses are plying, there are yellow taxis too. The tram line is also visible in the middle of the bus which would tell a viewer that there is any advertisement or propaganda of the government of West Bengal. However, this picture of the city of Kolkata has been used to tweet on the official Twitter handle of the Tripura Government. The tweet was made on behalf of the Tripura government using a picture of a clear, busy Sealdah Flyover. The issue has already gained highlights in the national media.
Trinamool Congress has taken a dig at the Tripura BJP govt for faking a photo again.
In a press conference, TMC leader Subal Bhowmik said it is really a positive sign that BJP is learning development from Bengal but the reality is the development ends after stealing photos from Bengal.
“The photo was grabbed from Kolkata roads to display organized traffic management in that big city. Earlier in UP BJP had copied the Bengal model claiming development of Uttar Pradesh. Then BJP took the photo from the US also. That’s how BJP Govts are functioning across India”, said Subal Bhowmik.
The Statement came after Tripura Govt invited slogan-writing-competition with Kolkata’s well-managed traffic movement photos on its large-sized roads.
