DHARMANAGAR, Dec 9 (TIWN): A car numbered 5-A-0636 has been detained by Police at Dharmanagar, North Tripura.

However, the smuggler Dulu Mia escaped allegedly with bundles of drugs in front of the police. But, still, a few quantities of drugs could be seized by Police from the car.

The incident took place at the Kalidighi area in Dharmanagar sub-division. However, the car owner has been brought for interrogation by police but he was not in the car during the raid and said he has no idea about these drugs.

Traffic Dept officer Pankaj Debnath had raided the car and seized the drugs.
