AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): Farmers in rural Tripura have been driven to despair by the unseasonal rains which extensively damaged the vital vegetables.
The unexpected rain has damaged cultivated vegetables, winter special vegetables massively.
The devastated farmers have sought Govt’s help to overcome the losses.
“We are incurring huge losses and we are not getting any returns from our cultivation. Farmers are not left with any other option than keeping hand-head as they are facing heavy debts,” said a farmer.
From radish to cabbage, the vegetables have been damaged majorly.
