AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): Today i.e. on 08th Dec 2021, three active NLFT (BM) Insurgents namely Self-Styled Sepoy Suku Chandra Debbarma @ Swrang S/o Arun Kumar Debbarma resident of Village- Sonpara, PS- Mungaiyakami, Sub DivisionMungaiyakami, District- Khowai (Tripura), NLFT (BM) Cadre Deba Mohan Tripura @ Dompai S/o Abhiram Tripura and NLFT (BM) Cadre Pankhichan @ Bura S/o Kela Kumar Tripura, both these are resident of Village- Wakhiram Roaja Para (East Gobindbari), PS- Manikpur, Sub Division- Manu, District- Dhalai (Tripura) along with one active Insurgent of a Manipur based Outfit “KYKL (Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup)" namely Vidyananda @ Bomocha S/o Dina Chandra Singh R/o VillageKhurai Thangjam Leikai, Police Station- Porompat, Sub Division- Porompat, DistrictImphal (East) have surrendered before BSF in presence of Shri Rajiv Kumar Dua, Deputy Inspector General, Sector Headquarter BSF Panisagar and other Senior BSF Officers and Media personnel.

It is to mention here that during preliminary questioning, one of the above mentioned active Insurgent namely Self-Styled Sepoy Suku Chandra Debbarma @ Swrang has confessed that he along with NLFT (BM) Cadre namely
Saruj Debbarma @ Usharanjan @ Warai was directly involved in the killing of BSF personnel namely Sub Inspector Bhuru Singh and Constable Raj Kumar as well as snatched their service weapons i.e. one 7.62 mm AK 47 & one 9 mm SMG Berretta of BSF along with Magazines & Live Ammunitions, near Indo-Bangladesh International Boundary in area of responsibility of BOP RC Nath, 64 Bn BSF in early hours of 03rd August 2021. Hence, Suku Chandra Debbarma @ Swrang Debbarma has been handed over to Police Station – Manikpur, District – Dhalai (Tripura) for further investigation and necessary course of legal action as per the FIR lodged in the said case.
As numbers of Indian Insurgents have surrendered before BSF and other SFs, hence it specifies their eagerness to denunciate the path of violence and enthusiasm to live peaceful contented life with their parents, relatives & friends.
