AGARTALA, Dec 7(TIWN): Student organisations SFI and TSU placed deputation to the director of OBC department over students over the stipend issue.

Reportedly, showing various excuses the OBC department has been depriving the OBC students of releasing their stipends, resulting the students are facing various financial problems.

Over this issue SFI and TSU placed deputation demanding stipends should be paid to the student’s immediate. The students' wings also demanded to increase the stipend.

The SFI, TSU also announced to organize movements against the "privatization" of the Education system in state.
