AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): DYFI members have displayed faith in the police, seeking arrests of BJP hooligans who attacked Samiran Kar, a DYFI leader.
In Tripura, whether it is fake vote casting or CCTV footage recorded criminals, police have no authority to arrest anyone if s/he belongs to the ruling BJP party. However still, the Left is biting the dust and asking SP West to ensure justice to Samiran Kar.
Samiran Kar was attempted to be murdered allegedly by BJP workers in Jirania. Right now, Kar is admitted to GB hospital.
Tripura has witnessed thousands of violent attacks on common men, opposition, property damage, poll rigging, huge numbers of political murders, newspaper office burnings, damages but due to political interest, no proper action could be taken by police yet.
