AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): TRTC Chairman, BJP winner candidate Dipak Majumder likely to take the oath as AMC Mayor on 9th December.

The decision was taken after BJP State in charge Vinod Sonkar arrived in the state.

According to party sources, the BJP high command has agreed to Dipak Majumder’s name as Mayor.

Dipak Majumder was previously elected as a Chairman of AMC  from 1998-2000 on a Congress ticket.
