AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): Municipal Poll which was won by BJP due to massive rigging, violence is not the last poll in Tripura before 2023 Assembly Poll but the state yet to undergo Village Committee Elections state-wide.

The village committees lapsed more than a year before and the state does not have any village committee now. The poll was delayed due to Covid.

However, oppositions are likely to move Court, if immediately the Poll is not announced.

The Election is expected in January, 2022
