AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): Reportedly, a retired official identified as Narayan Debnath was attacked by miscreants on the Poll Day while he went out for Morning walk on 25th Nov( Yesterday). He was attacked at Bholananda area in Gorkhabasti around 5 am. The injured ex-serviceman said that he went out early in the morning for walk everyday, and unlike everyday when he went out he was first stopped then he was beaten up brutally without proper reason.
Narayan Debnath was attacked by Sadhu Malakar and Rajib Gurung with sticks on his head. 3 stitches were needed on his head and before him another Ex-serviceman was beaten up by anti-socials.
FIR registered against the anti-socials at NCC PS, the injured Narayan requested the Police administration should take proper action against the anti-socials.
