AGARTALA, Nov 24 (TIWN): Tripura SSA teachers led by “Tripura SSA Employees Association” has placed a deputation to the Education Director seeking regularization.

It can be mentioned here, BJP before 2018 Assembly Election promised regularization of all contractual employees. In case of SSA teachers, the teachers also got a positive verdict in the High Court about regularization where the High Court asked the State Govt to regularize the SSA teachers, but now the Govt has refused to regularize teachers without TET.

SSA teachers asked, how can a Govt demand TET for the teachers who were recruited before the NCTE mandated that TET is compulsory for all teachers ?

Also SSA Association alleged, after 2017, September no salary hike was announced by the Govt.

With various similar demands the SSA teachers have met the Director of Education Dept.
