AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress has praised BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman for clear stand against Tripura Violence.

MP Sushmita Dev has mentioned any ‘responsible politician’ will do that and for Tripura’s welfare any such move is welcome.

Trinamool has welcomed the statement, Minister Bratya Basu said, “We thank the MLA for his neutral statement amid party barriers. The ongoing violence in Tripura is rarest. Even after the Supreme Court’s warning, no step was taken to prevent violence. Our case’s hearing is going on and we believe the Court will give us justice. Today the senior politician cum Sudip Barman’s statement is welcomed which has proven where democracy is the democracy positioned in the state”.

The statement from TMC came after Sudip Roy Barman had criticized Tripura BJP’s violence.
