AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Centering Shayoni Ghosh’s ‘Khela Hobe’ slogan before BJP workers from inside the vehicle on 20th Nov at Biplab Deb’s public meeting area, she was arrested by imposing various sections.

Condemning the police action AITC MP, Sushmita Dev said that fabricated case was registered against Ghosh and steps will be taken according to law to release her.

After Ghosh‘s arrest groups of AITC leaders, Ministers including AITC General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee landed in Tripura from Bengal.

“There is no Democracy left in Tripura”, says Kunal Ghosh over the illegal arrest of the Film actress cum TMC leader Sayoni Ghosh by Tripura Police.

“Tripura Police arrested Sayoni Ghosh with fabricated cases but failed to arrest the BJP goons who demolished TMC’s meeting spot and snatched microphone, disconnected lights at Indranagar, Agartala on 20^th evening. Panna Deb, a senior female worker of TMC was brutally attacked but the law keepers yet not detained a single culprit”, said Ghosh.
