AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): In protest against the Tripura Municipal Poll violence of BJP, Trinamool Congress members have gathered at the State Election Commission Office today.
A demonstration was placed in front of the Election Commission office.
Over 11 of FIRs were lodged in the recent times after BJP led attacks but no action was taken by police and everyday there are severe attacks on the opposition.
Moreover, TMC not getting permissions for 'jana-sabha' in various places. In a few cases, video recording evidence has been published in news media and in social media but the Election Commission has failed to take any action.
In protest, today TMC leaders, workers have gathered at the State Election Commission office seeking a ‘free and fair’ election.
The Election will not arrange CCTV camera and VVPAT which is the main issue of the protest.
