AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): Former BJP Union Minister Babul Supriyo at Agartala MBB Airport reacted to media queries over CM Biplab Deb’s threatening speech to TMC in Barjala rally yesterday. Babul Supriyo said, “Usually, from the very beginning he (Biplab Deb) does not have any control over his speech and what he tries to say results in MEMEs. Holding such an important position that kind of threatening statement is absolutely unexpected, although for him (Biplab Deb) it is not new. In Tripura even election campaigning is not allowed for the opposition. In this condition only TMC can remove this undemocratic Government”.

“Tripura needs development. In 2018 so many promises were made by the BJP but nothing has been kept. We will go to the people and ensure that development happens like Bengal. I was in BJP it is fact but as a leader our main duty is for the people. The leader who can bring the development, s/he should be admired and Mamata Banerjee has been doing true development in Bengal which needs to be expanded up to Tripura also”, Babul Supriyo told media persons in the Agartala Airport.
