KUMARGHAT, Nov 18 (TIWN): CPI-M former MLA Samiran Malakar was injured severely in miscreants’ attack.

The on-duty Doctor Subhajit Pal said the former MLA received head injury and also injuries in parts of his body. For better treatment he was referred to Dharmanagar Dist hospital.

Party workers hospitalized the leader immediately after the incident.  

CPI-M said, until the accused persons are arrested CPI-M activists will keep the roads blocked.
