AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): TBSE Standard-IX and XII exams was supposed to be held with 40 marks but recently Education Department published a notification where it is mentioned that instead of 40 marks exams will be taken on 80 marks and, the exams will be started from Dec 4. Publishing such notification suddenly pushed the students in troublesome situation as they don’t have much time to cover up the huge syllabus within 15 days.
Centering the abrupt notification, the board students from various schools gheraoed Shiksha Bhaban and started protesting, saying they will continue their protest until the Department withdrawn their published notification against students. The student protest was leaded by NSUI student leader, Samrat Roy.
Now it has remained to be seen what decision the board will take.
