AGARTALA / MUMBAI, Nov 18 (TIWN): Maharashtra Cyber, a cyber security agency has demanded removal of 36 offensive social media posts which were posted in the wake of Tripura incidents.
The cyber scrutiny in Maharashtra came in action since the Tripura violence tension affected the state Maharashtra and tension erupted in Amaravati, Nashik-rural, Nanded, Yavatmal, Washim.
Reportedly some of the posts were deleted whereas others would be deleted too.
Times Now news reported that Sharad Pawar, NCP chief has strongly criticized the violence, saying, “The reaction seen in Maharashtra over the Tripura issue, during which some people took the law into their hands, was not right. To oppose that, some people took to the streets. That too was not right. It is wrong on part of political parties to support such things”.
