AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): Centering upcoming Municipal election on Nov 25 TMC has started campaigning in Tripura, also party flags, festoons has installed in different wards in support of their candidates. But every day somewhere in the state reportedly, miscreants are destroying the party’s materials. It was even reported that this morning miscreants had destroyed election campaign materials of TMC in the dark of night in Ward No. 15 under Teliamura Municipal Council. Over the ongoing destruction TMC protested before Teliamura PS.

In the protest movement Tripura TMC activists along with West Bengal MLA Abhijit Singh and two other MLAs were present.

Bengal TMC MLA and other leaders appealed to the Teliamura PS OC Narugopal Deb to take appropriate action immediately, otherwise they will be forced to sit in dharna again in the coming days and that Dharna will be prolonged.

However, TMC activists later withdrew their protest after getting assurances from the police.
