AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress has demanded arrest of BJP MLA Surajit Datta immediately under IPCs as per his hate instigating speech in front of the Chief Minister Biplab Deb.

Surajit Datta in a video has been spotted for directing the BJP workers to beat up the TMC candidates wherever they will see them.

Reacting over Datta’s remark, TMC MP Sushmita Dev said, “Surajit Datta is a BJP MLA and a senior leader4. Such statement from him in front of the Chief Minister proves that Tripura’s ongoing violence is a creation of the BJP and it will be proven in the Supreme Court also. His statement also proves that Tripura Police are doing nothing. We demand that MLA should be immediately arrested”.
