Trinamool moves Supreme Court seeking Protection of party workers in Tripura

AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking protection to the workers in Tripura who have been brutally attacked everyday.
Today the case will be heard in the Supreme Court.
However the petition was filed on 28th October. After October 28, lots of violence incidents took place in Tripura where opposition parties faced severe attacks.
A demand for formation of SIT is also in the plea against police’s inactive role in the state.
