AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress in a press meet on Tuesday has appealed to the voters to vote for the TMC. Former BJP National Executive team member Rajib Banerjee said, “Voting for Left and Congress is just wastage of vote. Vote for TMC if truly want to Unseat the BJP for State’s Development. Lots of attacks were organized on the TMC candidates but not a single candidate has withdrawn nomination. It means TMC members want to fight”. Banerjee further asked, “What kind of Politics is this where a son of a candidate is beaten up ? Here common men have no security. That’s why I appeal to the people to vote for the TMC. Why is the BJP so afraid about free and fair elections? Because it knows that it can not win without rigging. If all voters are allowed to go to the booth, BJP would get zero seats”.

Talking to media, MP Sushmita Dev said, “BJP on the one hand claims that TMC has no existence in Tripura but on the other hand BJP alleges that TMC is generating terror in the state. So the party BJP’s fear is exposed with its own varied statements”.

TMC Tripura Convener Subal Bhowmik said, “TMC leadership is helping us and top leaders are working on the ground. Left Front even after having 16 MLAs so many candidates withdrew their nomination but TMC candidates did not give up even after so many attacks. I believe, Tripura Municipal Election will be cited as an example in the future”.
