AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): ‘We have not withdrawn a single candidate like Left and Congress and it's our great achievement’, said Subal Bhowmik after nomination withdrawal time is finished.
Reacting over the ongoing violence and threats to the opposition to withdraw nomination, Subal Bhowmik said, “Our so many candidates have been attacked. Soma Ghosh’s home is fully damaged. Today Swapna Mallik’s house was attacked and her son was beaten up, but amid all these, 51 candidates out of 51 have not withdrawn nomination. This is our achievement whereas claimed as united parties like Left and Congress had withdrawn many nominations”.
