AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): Pressured by bank to clear loans, the terminated 10323 teachers met the Gramin Bank authority in Bordowali Branch today led by JMC member Kamal Deb.

Talking to media, Kamal Deb said that being jobless for over 20 months, the terminated teachers are unable to manage two meals and by this time, Bank’s pressure is unbearable.

“The Department has terminated us but failed to give us any termination letter which has also created various bank related problems for us”, said Kamal Deb.

However, the Bank manager reportedly agreed to extend the loan recovery time and it was also assured that no pressure will be put on the terminated teachers to clear loans for now.
