BELONIA, Nov 8 (TIWN): In another barbaric attack by BJP, a housewife has lost her eyes in Rajnagar, Belonia. The recently organized incident has generated heavy resentment among the local people. Centering the Municipality election, BJP miscreants attacked CPI-M member Sukumar Sarkar’s home in Belonia subdivision's Rajnagar. Similar attacks are being conducted statewide amid BJP organized violence succeeded the party to win over hundred seats uncontested. In the Rajnagar attack by BJP, CPI-M member Sukumar Sarkar was not present in home but the BJP miscreants after not getting Sukumar Sarkar attacked Prasenjit Sarkar and his mother Kanan Sarkar. Both were injured but Kanan Sarkar received life-long injuries in the attack. She has lost one eye forever and it needs to be removed from her body.

Reportedly Doctor in GB hospital said, if her eye is not removed then the other eye will also become blind.

Local MLA Sudhan Das met the victim's family in GB hospital today.

Police have not arrested any miscreant yet.
