AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): To commemorate the 75 years of Nations independence Assam Rifles is organising a Motorcycle rally from Silchar to Shillong covering all North Eastern states as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Motorcycle rally consisting of 25 brave heart riders of the Assam Rifles arrived in Agartala on 07 Nov and departed for Aizawl on 08 Nov 2021.

The Assam Rifles living up to its Motto of Sentinels of the North East have been rendering yeoman service to the North Eastem states. The flag in and flag off ceremonies conducted by Assam Rifles in the Assam Rifles ground located at Kunjaban saw participation by the war veterans, students of Maa Roti and Ferrando rehabilitation centre.
