AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): Swarnim Vijay Varsh Victory Mashaal which reached Tripura yesterday has been paid honour by CM Biplab Deb today.

CM Biplab Deb has praised Indian soldiers of 1971 led under PM Indira Gandhi, Kargil War under PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and surgical strike by soldiers under Narendra Modi.

CM said that in each of the events India was successful in giving a befitting reply to Pakistan.

The Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 was a military confrontation between India and Pakistan that occurred during the Bangladesh Liberation War in East Pakistan from 3 December 1971 to the fall of Dacca on 16 December 1971.
