AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): A housewife named Pratima Debnath of Gokulnagar 6 years ago got married to Sanjay Debnath resident of Birganj Panchayat, Amarpur. Soon after their marriage quarrels became a common issue on regular basis.
Reportedly, On Oct 19 the housewife left her last breath in Hospital bed. After the death of Pratima, her family alleged her husband Sanjay is the main reason behind her death as since after their marriage often her husband has been torturing her. Accordingly, case was filed against Sanjay and his family Under Section- 498/302/34 of Case No. 60/2021 at Birganj PS.
However, the demise Pratima was buried without Post Mortem.
Yesterday Women Commission Chairperson, Barnali Goswami and other members talked with the Birganj Police Station OC Sumon Acharya and assured the demise Pratima’s family and assured the demise will get justice. And if needed Post Mortem will be done after Pratima dead body pick up from the graveyard.
