AGARTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): Tripura SSA teachers’ association has alleged that the existing Govt which came in power promising to regularize all employees has kept on depriving the SSA teachers.

Tripura SSA teachers clearly stated on Monday if the SSA teachers and staff are not regularized no felicitation will be given.

Recently, SSA teachers’ salaries were hiked after the High Court asked the Govt to regularize the SSA staff, but Govt did not regularize the SSA teachers and only TET qualified teachers were announced as regular. So, only for some pay hikes, SSA teachers will not thank the Govt.

SSA teachers today in a press meet said, “High Court never asked Tripura Govt to Recruit only TET Qualified SSA Teachers. Moreover, if TET qualification is mandatory for the SSA teachers, how were the Science teachers regularized by just a Cabinet decision ?”

SSA Teachers have demanded regularization of all teaching and non-teaching staff at the earliest.
