AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): Frustrations have gripped Tripura State Govt employees under the BJP led State Govt who were promised before Election to be given Central Pay Scale under 7th Pay Commission since the first Cabinet meeting in March, 2018.
Reportedly, only 3% DA was cleared to the employees of Tripura in the last 3 years whereas the previous Left Govt used to pay at least 7% to 10% of DA per year. Thus, whereas earlier the employees used to get benefits of 25 to 20% DA per year, this time, they are getting only 3% DA for 3 years. Moreover, no 7th Pay Commission was given and only 0.32 factor was raised by the State Govt.
Recently an employee's body has strongly criticized Govt’s 180 degree turn from the pre-poll promises.
