AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): A vagabond type of woman who yesterday came in limelight after a local seller had beaten her up, today was found dead in front of IGM hospital.

There was a bandage on her neck, which sparked rumour that she was admitted in the hospital.

Yesterday she alleged that her son had left her in the IGM hospital and never returned to take her. Locals said that she was seen from 5 to 6 days there and in morning her health was found deteriorating and then she died. Yesterday she repeatedly said that her home is at Bhati Abhoynagar, Moulla Para.

SDM Ashim Saha rushed to the spot but the woman police officer on duty was found in slumber and clueless about the woman’s identity and background even though yesterday the vagabond woman was lime-lighted in the media.
