It is learned that RK Pur police station had been alleging for a long time that the youth of the area were addicted to drugs by illegally storing liquor in a hotel in Matabari area. According to the report, a large police force led by Inspector Shankar Saha of RK Pur Police Station rushed to the Matabari area around 12 noon on Friday. And from that hotel police seized huge amount of contraband items.

Police were able to recover about 8,000 rupees worth of foreign liquor. But could not arrest the accused. The anti-drug drive of Radhakishorepur police station was applauded by the well-wishers including the locals.
