AGARTALA, Oct 23 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress General Secretary, MP Abhishek Banerjee has slammed the BJP led Tripura Govt over the deteriorating law and order situation here.

The TMC MP expressed his surprise over how women are being asked in broad daylight in Tripura and after that no action is being taken against them. Many were injured in a brutal attack by miscreants in Agartala Amtali yesterday and MP Sushmita Dev and 2 more women were also injured. 

"Biplab Deb's Biday-Ghanta has been rung..................now only wait for the time........... To stop me from going to Tripura Biplab Deb imposed Section 144. The CM does not care about the Court either. Openly he is threatening that the Court has no power and he is the Supreme power of his state", said Banerjee.

Today, TMC leaders visited Police Headquarter, placed a deputation to the DGP seeking arrests of the culprits who attacked TMC in broad daylight in Amtali market on Friday.

The attack took place when the TMC members were talking to the market’s shop-keepers. All of a sudden some miscreants attacked the TMC where I-PAC team members were present.TMC alleged that the entire incident happened in front of police.
