AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): In a shocking incident a TNGCL consumer received Rs 52, 710 bills in 2 months at Joynagar, Agartala.
Reportedly, Mrinal Kanti Biswas, a lawyer by profession, resident of Joynagar area near Juba Samaj Club received a message in his mobile TNGCL bill Rs 52,710 of 2 months. Noticing huge amounts of bills Mrinal Kanti Biswas rushed to TNGCL office to know about the bill issue where he was told to bring the photo of Meter Box although it is not the duty of the consumer. At last, the consumer again received Rs 1,612 bill of 94 days.
After such harassment over bill issue the consumer, Mrinal Kanti Biswas expressed extreme resentment against TNGCL.
The victim consumer said that he will complain to the Consumer Forum against the TNGCL and to take legal action.
