AGARTALA, OCT 21 (TIWN): Viswa Hindu Parishad rally participants allegedly attacked Krishnanagar Jama Masjid on Thursday. The miscreants have broken the window glasses and CCTV Camera reportedly. Later after getting the news the West Agartala police rushed to the place to control the situation. While talking to media, Uddus Mia, a member of the Jama Masjid said that, "We got the information that some participants of the rally was crossing by this road and they attacked the Masjid window. We then informed the West PS. Police has reached here and now investigating the matter. Basically no Muslim families stay here, so the Hindu brothers take care of this Masjid Building. Now after getting information from them about this attack we came here."

After the religious attacks on minorities in Bangladesh have been taken place, the Viswa Hindu Parishad in Tripura are organising several protest curriculums across the State, demanding action against the attacks. But this alleged attack on religious place in Agartala have been created a panic in the locality of Krishnanagar area.
