AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers have sought financial help from the State Govt in this festival season, but no grant was accepted by the Govt which has erupted heavy resentment.
In a social media post, 10323 teachers' group has posted, "Govt is for the people OR Govt is not for the people Inspite of repeated appeal 10323 didn't receive any financial support from BJP govt in this puja festival. Time will not always remain the same that's what we believe. #After every bad time always there is a good time".
Talking to the media, a terminated teacher said, “We are really feeling very sad that we are unable to purchase anything for our children in this festival season. When all are celebrating Durga puja, for us there is nothing. Our children are suffering. We are unable to give them anything in this puja. So we beg the Govt to provide us some helps”.
“It has been 19 months that we are jobless. We demand that the CM should realize our griefs and like other Govt employees we also should get some helps. Also we request the CM to talk to us and discuss our problems”, said Kamal Deb in front of Agartala City Centre.
10323 teachers' death toll has raised to 110.
