AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): The crowd in Durga puja pandals in Agartala remained at moderate level on Panchami night.

Various clubs’ pandals are being inaugurated across the city.

Today, it is Maha Panchami which starts the festive temperament whereas the actual puja in Bengali community will begin from tomorrow with Maha-Shashthi. The fifth day of Navratri (Maha-Panchami) is dedicated to Skandmata who is worshiped as the fifth form of Goddess Durga. She is considered to be extremely kind and it is said that this form of Goddess Durga defines motherhood.
