AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): In attempt to curb accident rates in state, traffic department has started speed checking in Durga puja.

In Bishalgarh bypass road vehicle speed was checked and the violators were fined on spot.

Till early afternoon’s report total 11 cars were traced with heavy speed and fines were imposed. People who are unable to pay the fine, against them case was lodged as per the traffic rules.
