AGARTALA, Oct 8 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Birjit Sinha on Friday has said that new party formation will not affect the Congress.

The statement came from Birjit Sinha after former Congress President Pijush Biswas had formed a new party ‘Tripura Democratic Front’.

Sinha slammed Tapas Dey, former MLA saying, “Tapas Dey is only a single body and he has no followers. Still Congress gave him huge respect……….before few days, he said he will never resign Congress but why has now resigned. However, it’s valueless to talk about the new party. It will not hamper Congress”.
