AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): Madhupur police held a meeting with club members, social workers to ensure a safe puja.

Police have expressed concerns over the increasing theft cases in state. The police also mentioned that the Dasami programme is always a problematic and on Dasmi law and order problem erupts. Keeping all these issues ahead, police have requested the social workers and club members to take care of these matters.

The meeting was held in Madhupur Police station.

Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsava, or Sharodotsava, is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess, Durga. In Bengal, Assam, Tripura, this festival is observed with full enthusiasm.
