AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): While addressing a meeting organized jointly by Left units, CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Choudhury has said, 'Biplab Deb is Tripura's Ajay Mishra. Biplab Deb says that what he says, he does but his only work is to organize violence, burning public properties in broad daylight, snatching people's livelihood and voting rights. The Uttar Pradesh Minister's vehicle killed innocent people and PM Modi claims about Democracy in the US but killing of farmers in UP is the exact example of Modi's democracy". Jitendra Choudhury has criticized the BJP led State and Central Govt over deteriorating law and order, constant curbing of Freedom of Speech and increasing prices of commodities.

Jitendra Choudhury also criticized the state govt over increasing PNG, CNG prices. He mentioned how under the Left Govt TNGCL was formed followed by MoU between Tripura, Assam Govts and GAIL. He said, Tripura made gas does not need refining and today 50,000 families are benefited out of it but now increasing prices of them are disrupting people’s lives.
