AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Increasing Land-Mafias have rattled lives across the state. BJP members are allegedly attacking a family seeking their land property in Airport road.

The incident took place at Dighalia, Natun Nagar, under the Airport PS area. The family is facing constant attacks from the BJP party. The party workers also attacked the family in deep night hours, vandalizing their home.

The victim's family member Nirmal Kapali said that she is taking sleeping pills out of tension as such attacks have turned into everyday issues. The land belongs to the family for the last 70 years.

The victim's family members have sought protection and Govt’s intervention in the incident. The victim family placed a deputation to the SP West.

The attack took place when the family was putting boundery walls in their land.
