AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): The Congress party held a meeting ahead of the Municipal Corporation poll.

Talking to the media, Congress State President Birjit Sinha said, “Public in Agartala are paying hefty taxes but in return they are not receiving proper services. Just 45 minutes of rain, the city suffers due to flooding. Thousands of crores of works were done. Why proper works were not done, it has to be checked”.

“Moreover, Congress will also discuss the poll planning and next protest programmes in today’s meeting”, Sinha added.
