BISHALGARH, Oct 3 (TIWN): In an unfortunate incident, a person died after falling into a pond while fishing. The incident occurred at Madhya Brajapur area under Bishalgarh Police Station on Sunday.

According to the details of the incident, 60-year-old Nitai Debnath went to fish in the pond of Sahadeva Deb near his house and suddenly fell down in the pond. After a long search, Nitai Debnath's body was found floating in the water. Immediately the family members rushed him to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital but it was too late, the on-duty doctor at the hospital declared him dead.

His body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy. The relatives broke down in tears on the hospital premises after witnessing this shocking incident.
