AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): 45 years old housewife Surjaban Begum’s dead body was found hanging in her own home at Aravinda Nagar area under Madhupur PS.

Family members said that after they woke up in the morning, they found her hanging body and immediately brought her to Bishalgarh hospital. The on-duty doctors declared her as dead.

It was alleged by the family that the woman was suffering from mental illness for a long period of time. Police have started an investigation in the case. Body was sent for a post mortem.
