KHOWAI, Oct 1 (TIWN): Students of Ratanpur Higher Secondary staged protest at Khowai as their school is running without teachers. The students hit the streets with their demand for teachers and the fact that there is a severe crisis of teachers since 2018 and almost all teachers are in deputation. Since the school resumed after lockdown, not a single class was conducted in Ratanpur Higher Secondary High School. Students are facing huge problems in completing their syllabus. On numerous occasions, students of classes 9-12 have raised this issue to the higher authorities but except assurance, they did not receive any help practically. On top of that, the state government terminated over 10,000 teachers in the state.

The dilapidated state of the Education system has been reported in various parts of the state.
