AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): On Thursday afternoon, the third year students of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar College, Belonia, placed a deputation to the principal of the college to keep the schedule unchanged during the sixth semester examination. The students are seeking an explanation as to why the exams were postponed indefinitely.
The second issue is the UGC's directive to start classes for the new session in October. In that case, if the Tripura University College postpones the sixth semester examination for an uncertain period, then the university will not be able to start the session on time, and those who want to be admitted in other universities for a master's degree or B.Ed will be completely deprived of this opportunity.
The students demanded that the examination should be taken as per the pre-schedule published by Tripura University.
